Dean of Students

Mrs. Kirsten Bergland

It is with pure joy that I am starting my twenty-seventh year in Education. This is my sixth year serving in Hazelwood as the Dean of Students. Prior to this position, I was a Math Teacher in the Ferguson-Florissant School District for twenty-one years.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in Middle School Mathematics Education. I then received my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University.

I absolutely love my job. Getting to work with our students each day is so fun and rewarding. I firmly believe that all our students can learn and achieve at high levels and I am here to support them in any way I can. It truly takes a village and I am so happy to work with the community we have here at Central Middle to help our students on their path to reaching their full potential.
